This is a mix from a friday night in June 2014, recorded at Solas NYC. DJ Color TV had the place jumping all night long. This mix is just 1 hour snippet from the full night. Listen to it, like it, and share it with everyone!!!!
Equipment used for this mix: 2 Technics 1200's and a Rane 62 mixer. Serato is the DVS and the program that recorded the mix. This is about 1 hour from a 6 hour set, from about 11:45pm to 12:45am. The place was hype all 6 hours. And of course the intro and outro were recorded after the fact. Click Through for a full track listing.

This morning, your's truly was on Sway's show in the morning. If you missed it, you can listen to it right here. It was a very interesting experience. The Sirius XM offices host shows like Howard Stern, Opie and Anthony and more. I got to walk past some of those studios too. While I was there, there were celebrities all around the offices. Ben Stiller almost literally ran into one of the hosts on the Sway show (while turning a corner). Anyhow, my part of Sway's show was shotr but sweet. There was a few minutes where he interviewed me. We talked about my DJ name, NYCelectro.com, and whats next for me. Then I DJ'd for right around 30 minutes. It was over fast, but was really fun. Here is the mix, and what they said from the site, and more things after the jump:
"Everyday on Sway in the Morning we have a special guest DJ take over our turn-tables and mix for 30 minutes straight. Today, @DJColorTV rocked our mix! Missed it? Listen and love it below. http://swaysuniverse.com/in-the-mix-w-dj-wonder/dj-color-tv-mixes-live-on-sway-in-the-morning
And for some Pics:
In November, in Toronto Canada, for an entire week, Redbull brought out the best DJs from all over the world to compete for the world championship called The Redbull Thre3Style. For those of you that don't know, its a 15 minute DJ battle where the DJs must play at least three different genres of music, thats about the only limitation, the rest is up to the DJ to rock the crowd as hard as they can! So, lets go through a brief day-by-day, then we will get to the world finals and champions, all after the jump...
Its a spooky time of year, ghouls are in search of blood to terrorize yall's neighborhood. That means one thing, Halloween is upon us. Labor Day and other summer holidays in NYC are always great. Lots of the "Bridge and Tunnel" crowd are out of town/at the beach somewhere and so are many people in Manhattan. So that makes the parties on a weekend like this one much more fun. The spot you normally would hate to go to on a weekend night, due to over crowdedness or unpleasant people, is safe to hit. It will still be the quality music you would expect but with room to actually dance! The bar is accessible, people are more approachable and generally having a good time.
• Saturday Night, DJ Jonny Santos (NYC) and DJ Sancon (Kyoto, Japan) will be rocking at Over the Eight
594 Union Ave (between Richardson St & Frost St) Williamsburg Bk, NY 11211

* Sunday Night, DJ Color TV and DJ Sancon will be at LeftField for the Labor Day Eve party! Its goth in the basement and hip-hop up top. 87 Ludlow Street, just south of Delancey St.

After a grueling/stressful Gong battle, International DJ Ease came through with the win. There were unwanted rematches, broken turntables, screaming matches, hurt feeling... You know, all the stuff that you should expect from a grudge match like The Gong Battle. The audience is encouraged to boo and if the judges don't like it, they will literally Gong you out. And that damn gong is super loud. We will get into the details after the jump, but first, let me say DJ Ease ruled the competition. Below is one part of the 7 routines he had to master in-order to win. This is the R.I.P. Routine. More info about the competition after the jump...
