Miami: DJ Color TV, 3rd place WMC Battle Set, (with Video and the other winners too)
Your's truely, DJ Color TV, competed in the 2012 Winter Music Conference (WMC) 5-Minute DJ-Spinoff battle, and brought home the 3rd place title. The battle was long with 20 competitors and the competition was tough. DJ Manny took home 1st Place and DJ Ease was 2nd. If you have ever wondered what goes into a battle like this, click through. MIAMI 2012 Wrap-up: WMC, Spring Break, Ultra Fest
This past week, Miami was the host to three huge events; the Winter Music Conference (WMC), Spring Break, and Ultra Music Festival. If you are into music, especially electronic music, then there is no other place you should have been. NYCelectro.com was there representing the WMC and checking out all the amazing events, amazing weather, and amazingly beautiful people in Miami.

Movember – Fundraising Party, Thurs the 10th at Mercury Bar, 6pm.
Come to Mercury Bar this thursday night from 6pm to 10pm to help raise money for Movember. Team MOtamax (from the ad agency Metamax), along with DJ Color TV and DJ Lazor will be raising money men's health, specifically prostate cancer. Metamax has agreed to match any donation for the cause, so what you donate will be doubled. Thats pretty nice!

Tonight, Halloween Party with DJ Lazor and DJ Color TV, at Solas
Come out tonight to Solas to Dance Yourself to DEATH! DJ Lazor and DJ Color TV will be rocking it all night, in costume, for a ghoulishly good dance party. Solas one of the best dance club/bars in the East Village, and this costume party will be best dance party of halloween. So, get your makup-on and your scary/slutty costumes on, and lets party!

Labor Day Eve party at LIT with NYCelectro.com’s DJs

DJ A-Trak’s new Fool’s Gold Store, in Williamsburg Brooklyn
Walking down the street last night, I stumbled upon the big crowd gathered around the new Fool's Gold Store. It was their grand opening party and A-Trak was in attendance. Fool'd Gold is his record label and they have operated in Williamsburg for a while. I got a chance to talk to A-Trak a bit about the store and got some good pics. Right now, Governors Ball is on at Governor's Island, NYC. Currently, Passion Pit is about to go on. Today/night Girl Talk, Big Boi, Pretty Lights, Empire of the Sun, and People Under the Stairs will be rocking the all day music festival.
So, first of all, there isn't much of a line, so that's good. You can get right in. If you have VIP, don't be expecting much. But there are close viewing stations right by the stages.

NYC 2011 DMC competition! This Sat, June 11th
If you are a battle DJ or a turntablist enthusiast, this weekend is your weekend here in New York City. The longest running DJ competition will be hosing 2 competitions at Santos Party House. First will be the local battle to qualify for the world finals. Then, the US Battle for Supremacy. The show is from 2pm to 8pm, so get there early, as there will be a line to get in. Memorial Day Eve Party @ Solas with Color TV and Lazor
If you are in NY this weekend then you need to come out to Solas this Sunday night! It will be the full NYCelectro.com crew rocking the house! Thats right, DJ Color TV, Lazor, and Shu-T will be there making your dance into Memorial Day. Come get your dance-on that night before you get your grill-on the next day!
Also, Just announced, Tonight at Solas, will be DJ Color TV, Shu-T and special guest DJ Sancon. Sancon is from Tokyo Japan and tours with big name artists (in Japan) as well as works as a successful touring DJ between Japan and America.
